Women are generally underserved because the focus is so much on weight loss and being smaller. It’s almost like the world is saying that we have to be less than just to fit in. That you need to be toned, and bulky is gross, and being strong is offensive and a threat to society.

Where do you go if you just want to get stronger, move better, and have more energy?

If weight loss is part of your goal, that’s fine. That’s not the only reason why clients come to me. It’s not the only reason to improve fitness.

I know what it’s like to feel a little weak, not so confident, and just blah. Energy is low, and motivation is kinda there, but there are so many things in the way.

Why Fitness Foundations Works

I focus on simplicity, accountability, and support to make it as easy as possible for you to get started, especially if you have a busy schedule.

Accountability: Let’s face it. Sometimes, it’s a little tough to fit everything in and stay motivated. My coaching style holds you accountable, but I don’t belittle you or make you feel guilty for not being perfect.

Customized Programs: How many times have you said, “I’d love to get started, but have no idea where to begin?” Well, let me take care of that. I create a customized program based on the equipment you have, schedule, goals, and abilities.

Convenience: Everything is delivered on an app. You know what to do and when to do it. You can do the training sessions on your own time. There’s plenty of room for flexibility. Need to switch things around? No problem. You can do that right in the app.

Support: What kind of support do you get? We check in through video calls once a week for 25 minutes. In-between, you can send messages, pictures, and videos through the app.

Don’t Forget About Nutrition: How and what you eat are part of self-care, too. I give you three basic nutrition habits to practice throughout the program.

Hi, I’m Heather McDaniel. I’m well-versed in the highs and lows of the fitness journey. I spent years trying everything from Crossfit to adopting a plant-based diet to find that one thing that worked.

How the Fitness Foundation Academy Works

Step 1: Apply and have a quick consultation with me to make sure you’re ready and it’s a great fit.

Step 3: Download the app and receive your customized training program based on needs, abilities, goals, and schedule.

Step 5: We’ll have weekly 25-minute calls to cover nutrition, obstacles, challenges, and come up with strategies to overcome them.

Step 2: Enroll and fill out questionnaires and take a video assessment.

Step 4: Begin your program. You’ll start your first training sessions.

Step 6: Have the tools, skills, and confidence to reach your goals.

What Kind of Results Can I Get in 12 Weeks?

It depends. There are a lot of factors at work. Your program, your starting point, genetics, and nutrition, are just some of the factors that help you see results.

Here’s what usually happens is that clients have more energy and are in a better mood after the first 1-2 weeks. After that, they discover they’re getting stronger, and more confident because they’re seeing results.

Do I need to join a gym or get special equipment?

If you already have a gym membership, that’s fine, but you don’t need to join a gym. I can design your program for at-home workouts. The beauty of customized workouts is that they are tailored to where you are and what you have available.

We can make do with all bodyweight workouts, but you may get bored after a while. I do recommend some basic equipment, like a mat, minibands, and dumbbells or kettlebells.

Do I need to go on a restrictive diet?

No, no, and no. You’re going to learn three core nutrition habits to practice. You’ll learn how to enjoy food and live a healthy lifestyle at the same time.

Do I need to download special software?

Yes, you need to download Trainerize, which is how I deliver your programs. It’s free and available for iOS and Android devices.

Do you guarantee results?

I don’t guarantee results simply because there are too many variables that I can’t control. What I do guarantee is my commitment to you. You have my 100% to help you achieve your goals.

How do I begin?

Do you have a cancellation policy?

What if you sign up and decide that the program isn’t right for you? That’s OK. I have a cancellation policy.

You have 7-days after signing up to cancel to get a refund. After 7 days, you’ll get 50%. There is no refund after 30 days.
